Pre-start checks

Seven checks before a start date: right to work, identity, two references, qualification certificate, driving licence, signed contract, starter checklist. What each candidate still owes you, and what is about to run out. Verify each one once you have checked it, or send it back with a line saying why. We keep the reference number and the date, never the document itself.
